It turns on but nothing works. i.e boost, coolant temp etc.. boost just stays at -26 and doesn't move, coolant temp stops on 0 as does the others. The only one that works is the battery. So I'm guessing it's not connected properly. So would like to see a picture of someone's connected to the obd2 to see if mines pushed in far enough or not.

It's working fine, you need to set it up
If your car has a remap it needs putting on a certain channel, the boost needs setting to what you'd like it to read in, bar or psi, like wise the coolant, deg c or deg f
So on and so forth

If you read the set up instructions online it will guide you though it
It's not difficult to do
The leaflet that comes in the box does clearly say to look at the online setup guide

Here is the configuration guide for vw/Audi :

http://www.p3cars.com/content/pdf/vag-config.pdf

Hope it helps, if you're struggling further pm me and I'll give you my mobile number and I'll walk you through it tomorrow

Tom
Don't judge me by your ability !

@STV4R Got it working yet dude? Like NotNormal said you need to change the settings. Like the default engine is TSI so that needs changing to TFSI :happy2:

So, it turns out they sent me the wrong one for my car. 2006+ and my car is a 2005. They are now sending me out a new chip "free of charge"
Fingers crossed that when it arrives it works  :happy2:

They do! I was speaking to the owner there. £12.75 registered post

I was saying to him that a couple of us in Ireland might be interested which would lower the shipping cost. You in?

These are back up for sale now on kleen freaks, but now at £220 a pop!

An extra £10 if ya wanna change the colour and £25 for the boost gauge.

Then another £7.95 for postage.

Seems expensive now, for that reason I'm out!

Saw this last night... Shame really it's like they got a few over cheap to get the word out and then conveniently increase the price for the second lot, once more people started wanting them.

We've noticed that the P3 gauge is interfering with the DAB, can't get any signal when the P3 is installed. Unplug it and DAB will work fine again. Anybody have any idea how to get around this? :rolleye:

Finally got mine fitted. Looks and functions well.
Those with mk5 gti that are mapped, how do you have your configuration set up, car.0 or car.1, and bst.f or bst.d?
http://www.p3cars.com/vag-install

I only ask as I'm using car.0 and bst.f right now as I'm running rtech st1 and boost is reading 21.7 on full throttle and vacuum -20.5 when coasting...

Cheers.

Car 0, bSt.f for me! But from what I have read on the forums the f setting was made for the APR flashes to get them reading correctly, which suits me down to the ground

So in general, for the people that have already installed these, do they think theyre worth the money? or is the polar fis a better option?

I'm more than happy with mine... In regards to a comparison though I can't compare as I only have Midline clocks, so I would of had to upgrade them first before I could get a polar box which would have made things costly. Pretty sure @Mandy has had both though :happy2:
