« on: August 26, 2014, 06:31:23 pm »
Need to update as im currently bored of my system...was looking at the Veyron VNS-VW http://www.auto-electronics.com/index.php/veyron-vns-vw.html ...has anyone had one of these installed?

Is there any other good copies out there as i dont want to spend £500 on the actual rns510  :ashamed:

This one has tickled my fancy:

I think a few members of this forum have it.

Link corrected..

Sorry I don't have it (don't even have a Golf Gti yet  :signLOL:), but this would be the one I get if the car doesn't come with an RNS.

Have a search on youtube, the Eonon gear seems reliable.

Have a search on the forum, I am sure at least one member has an eonon unit in their golf.

Worth waiting for a USED genuine RNS510 than a replica IMO. :drinking:

I'm not too keen on Eonon.  Had one in my MK4 and all the buttons came loose.  I have this Xtrons one in my mk5 http://goo.gl/1AlwXl.  Had it 2 years now and not a single problem (Y).

Quick video I put together a while ago for a member I recommended it to.

This looks pretty good. Good price as well. Is it easy to update the maps?

Thanks for the link and video.
