As usual, apple are keeping tight lipped!

I've heard September 9th for unveiling and a week or so after that to get hold of one.

My 4s is nearly three years old, and feeling very tired! It's had the lock button replaced and a considerable section of the motherboard (if that's the right name) due to a charging issue. The home button requires a whack and the lock button has failed again (although I have jammed some paper in the inside of the phone which has sort of fixed it! The battery has been changed and the speaker hardly works 

Despite this - I'd have nothing else! I'll be ordering one ASAP!

I'm gonna keep my 5s it has warrant till may 2015 & by then the new iPhone should be cheap to buy used or on a upgrade.

Just spend 30 mins on Macrumors. Latest is curved glass, thinner, 4.7 or 5.5 (at a later date), potential NFC, updated A8 CPU, more sensors, obviously Touch ID improvements. Power button moved to side.

I heard it will be shown at the event on the 9th September and then available to buy 10 days later on the 19th September

Since when? They are on a 12 month product cycle refresh. Hardly a short time after.

I usually buy the new one every 2 years but I've just had to buy a 5s as my 5 died prematurely :( no tasty new phone for me this time.

Stuck in the apple ecosystem and can't move, so sticking with this. Have had a 3GS and a 4S. Decided to wait for 6 before upgrading.

Don't think I'll bother with the "phablet".
