Can't comment on the others, but I had an ITG on my old GTi and it was amazing! Best mod I done.

I've just had revo intake fitted to my ED30. I'm very happy and would highly recommend!

Hi, I am looking at Mods for my standard ED30, what difference does this make?

Just adding the intake will make it a bit more responsive and I found it breathes a bit better at high RPM's but is mostly a noise mod however with a remap and intake you'll see a very nice power gain and the same benefits as above but more so. Its still worth adding an intake without a map but to get the Max from it a remap is needed.

Nothing wrong with the MTC kit on eBay, has been proven to flow well and is very cheap in comparison to the likes of the Revo intake (granted it's not as pretty
)
Or you can make your own for even less

Intakes are good if you drive hard everywhere i.e track day but be prepared to sacrifice low end torque, which is what you use when town driving. I had one fitted and then refitted the oe cover at stage 2 +. I found it was a more rounded car with good low end/mid range and only sacrificed a few hp top end; which performance wise will not make a lot of difference. Also some intakes do mess up the maf readings and can lead to poor running. My car ran 270bhp with std engine cover and paper filter

When does the standard intake become a bottleneck ?
For an Ed30 with a basic remap, will I benefit from a large cone filter and pipe to the turbo inlet?
Will this ghetto version work well ?
