My car has just developed a problem, I'm pretty sure its a aux belt tensioner perhaps or poss cat maybe, wondering if anyone can shed any light on this.
Under load when pulling in a higher gear there is a rattle/squeek for initial few seconds when taking up drive for example if pulling away in second gear or changing to third gear early in the rev range car makes the sound, I've tried turning climate control off and testing again but is the same, checked aux belt tension and that seems ok also with no excessive play.
Just wondering if anyone has a similar experience and can tell me what to look for.
