Any Members in the Ramsgate Area

Just looking to see if there is anyone that is a member that lives in the Ramsgate area?

The reason i ask is that i am potentially going to look at a GTi on Saturday (pending decent VCDS report) and had planned to travel from Glasgow down to look at the car with a mate.  Anyway, after buying all the tickets etc my mate can no longer go and i dont want to have to fork out that money again.

Was just wondering if anyone would fancy basically being there while i test drive the car and look over it, just for my safetys sake as ive read about plenty dodgy incidents with car sales over the years.  Obviously beer tokens would be provided.

Would know for definite tomorrow lunch timeish if i was going to be travelling down.  Would be at Ramsgate train station on Saturday around 1pmish.

Nah, just been looking now for around 5 months for the right car and this one looks to be it.  Just a pain its so far away.

I'm about 40 minutes from Ramsgate to an hour, if no one pops in to help let me know and I'll see what I can do to help

Thanks for that mate.  Car booked in for a VCDS scan at 9am this morning, however cannot get a hold of the seller!!
