Hello from Portugal
« on: August 27, 2014, 12:39:07 pm »
Hello!

I bought a Golf V GT Sport R-line MY09 5P BLS 1.9 TDI 105 BHP in Nov, 2008. It has been modified since day 1, practically.

Here is how it was then:

And at the moment:

It also has some mechanical mods:
  • Cast iron front lower suspension arms
  • Front steering knuckle with 55 mm
  • Koni FSD shocks (Kit 2100-4001)
  • Eibach Pro-Kit springs
  • Front BBK R32 345 mm
  • ZF SACHS Performance reinforced clutch kit
  • PD140 oil cooler
  • Turbo Garrett GTB1749V
  • RL Motorsport custom remap (~171 CV)

Cheers

They're very easy to fit. No coding needed unlike the Mk6's LED tail lights.

I bought a PolarFis Adv.. It shows a lot more parameters. Expensive but since I like to look at the ECU values while driving I find it very useful. It also allows firmware updates. :happy2:
