New LED's fitted
« on: September 03, 2014, 09:19:36 am »
Fitted new LED bulbs to my car except sidelights as I lost my head!

got to the last bulb which was glovebox bulb - removed + fitted LED - not working? replaced with old bulb - still not working?

now all my interior lights don't work yet my numberplate bulbs work a treat?

Thanks

The sidelights are messy but can be done. Passenger side is easy and driver side can be gotten at by removing a few of the headlight bolts to wiggle it free at an angle.

When you installed the LED's did you check each one after installation?

I'm not sure on this but maybe you either got a bad batch or else they're not supported on your model except for exterior.

Hello mate, you've probably blown the fuse. check it... 7.5 mini amp fuse located by drivers side door. There is a cover you need to remove.

I have a spare fuse if you want I can post to you?

Hi Guys,

check every bulb as fitting and worked a treat, just the boot light didn't.

Will check fuse tonight and should be able to get one from motor factors - Thanks though :)

I also bought the bulbs off the guy that does them for members.

thanks for fast replies

Mark

Fuse had shat itself.

Will I be okay to fire a 10a in for now as we have no 7.5's in stock?

Thanks
