Best place to buy an RNS510 and version numbers

Hi guys... I am after an RNS510 for my Ed30 and aside from waiting for one to come up for sale on here I guess the only other place is ebay or gumtree?
Ideally I am looking for second hand to keep the price down but just been looking at version numbers and also LED display ones (which I guess are the newer versions)....
I guess my question is is there a version number which I should choose over others? Is it a simple case of the latest is the best one? Or should I keep my eye out for a specific version number or is there even a version I should be avoiding?
