Bury bluetooth unit
« on: September 03, 2014, 06:43:15 pm »
My brothers mk5 golf had a bury bluetooth kit fitted when he bought it and the telephone part of it works very well.
Was just wondering if it possible to steam music from his iphone5 there is an music option on the bury but when it's selected and a song played on his iphone with the BT turned on nothing comes on??

I've got the Bury kit in mine, I think the answer is it depends on the wiring. Some of the newer ones can do music but a lot of them are just connected into the Telephone connector on the quadlock.

I've recently fitted a Bury kit to my GTI, you need to connect an aux lead with 3.5mm jack from the back of the head unit to the A2DP port on the bury control box and flick the aux switch on and the music will stream  :happy2:
