Longest time to reply ever.

Oooo... nice!  :happy2:

Gee thanks Rich.

:happy2:

I like the black one more than the blue one... But good job !

That bonnet is the nuts Jay

No worries :)
I much prefer the blue over the black, it looked odd I think a black badge on Carbon.

Is your Rocco Rising Blue? Where did you get the paint from, fancy doing a few bits on my Golf R myself...

yeah :) Rising blue. i got the maint from Paints 4 u - they have a shop on line and on ebay.

The paint job came out really well.  :happy2:

I'm with scopes, I prefer the black badge but looking in the flesh is different from looking at pictures.

No worries man :) you are entitled to your own point of view.

I was thinking the same Shoduchi, the pictures maybe don't do it justice...

phone pics for the win!!!! lol

I'd incur the wrath of the forum and do the bonnet as well...

but beautiful carbon jason!!!!

can't paint over that!  :sad1: :sad1:

Loving the Rocco now Jay.  :happy2:

Personally, I like the badge blue.

thanks john :D
it's coming along slowly.

Next up... got a few things
new steering wheel in 5 days.

going to look at getting an anti lift and camber adjustable front bush, i know i already have the superpro ball joints but i want a tad more mid corner grip from the front end.
the anti lift kit should hopefully help stop the bump steer too. again coming from powerflex wishbone bushes already, it'll be interesting to see if there's any difference.

i'm probably going to fit new track rod arms at the same time to make sure everything is nice and tight.

there is a group buy on here for £220 I think for the powerflex bushes PFF85-501G and PFF85-502G but I have a source who can get me these for £155inc vat for the both. so I'm going to work out money

i am getting a lot of subframe shifting (probably because i cane the hell out of it in the bends etc) even with all new subframe bolts about 6 months ago so i am going to get the Tyrolsport deadset kit. i can live with the noise but it knocks my alignment out ever-so-slightly which really pisses me off.

depending on money left over i will get some H&R rollbars as well.

Coilovers well they are on the list and i have given up getting on kw v3 dcc coilovers and instead want a set of H&R monotubes. I want the H&R's over the Bilstein PSS/B14 because i believe the Bilstien to be progressive springs and not fixed rate like the h&rs, the H&R also go a bit lower (the Bilstein are max 40mm). it's not a fixed decision but I want a decent set up. and then I will need the DCC cancellers. I've not looked into coding out the DCC with VCDS (it's probably possible) but i may end up with the steering response in a less-than-ideal state. Ideally I want the steering in "comfort" to be honest as it's at it's best then, but currently the body performance is best in sport.

once that's sorted, then i will be weighing up what diff to go for, quaife, peloquin or wavetrac. i understand what a diff does but not how each type does it differently so i'll be doing some research and going from there.

then i will start on bodywork, R kit and the rest of the GT24 bits.
still a long, long way to go.

I'd of thought for more mid-corner grip you'd be getting anti roll bars first rather than swapping anything already modified? I'd also be very interested in a write up about the different types of differential out there, from what I've seen Wavetrac seem to be the most popular... Would like to know why.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Sorry mate I thought I had replied... ?????

you are right actually, that would make a lot more sense wouldn't it.
I think two are gear type and one is clutch pack, one of them will never let just one wheel spin but as said not sure exactly so research is needed!  :popcornsoda:

Hi Mike,
No I haven't mate
But now you've said that i did have a look and I really like the idea of those. I think i will be having some when I do the rest :) appreciate the heads up.

I've gotten up to this over the last few days. pretty good match for the bonnet to be fair.

Nice little interior touches.

I'll also take a look at the bump steer track rod ends. Sounds like a good upgrade to do. :drinking:

Your futures plans are awesome. :notworthy:
