I do love your comment about loving a fast diesel and not being able to own a petrol due to miles, right under the picture of your new petrol A3 TFSI. To be fair though, it's a good choice. :happy2:

If you start a new BT for the A3, you will hold the record for the most "live" build threads  :signLOL:

I must be in the wrong game.... Do you still have the golf or did you sell that for the A3?

Any plans for the A3?

It's the place to be, Eco-quick TDI for the week and TFSI/TSI/T tuned for the weekend  :innocent:
Nice work if you can get it!  :drinking: I'm still deciding on a second petrol car. Too many rad ideas  :stupid:

I'd like to do the same but I think it'd be a 6-cylinder petrol car for weekends! But then again I could just use that money to buy a nicer/ higher spec daily driver TDI. Decisions...

I'm guessing you maybe got the A3 in PX for the GTI?

I'm hoping to do the same sort of thing but I'm considering Scirocco TDI for the week and a Corrado VR6 for weekends.

That A3 should be the first post in the new board;

I took the A3 along with some cash as a swap for my Golf.

It's only up for sale, I'm not doing anything with it lol :) It's a lovely car though...really good condition.

Sorting out some bits in preparation for more tuning work on the 'Rocco.....going to get very expensive from here on out.

Enabled the XDS+ differential which is actually really quite something. A big transformation for what is basically a checkbox on Vagcom. Set mine on strong so the same as a Scirocco R.
Mmmmmm.

It emulates a limited slip diff by braking the inside/spinning wheel, the idea being the power goes to the other wheel.
It makes turn in noticably better and feels the front end is more planted and easier to hold a tight line.

While I am wanting to get a proper LSD from Alex on the group buy, for now this will do.  :happy2:

So VW introduced a mock differential on the 'Rocco, decided it would only be 'switched on' for the premium models? This is quite a good thing in my mind, £10 for someone to plug in VCDS and turn it on for cheaper models is a great tuning potential.
