That's quite expensive... If you like it, it should be awesome!

Hahah, I hope so mate
Thanks :)

Glad to see everything is back up and running for ya jay, onwards and upwards ay

That bonnet as well
I spoke to a few people before starting to source my audio, one sets up home audio for a living and he said if you can separate the amps for subs and speakers it is best to, sending signals clearer or something so that might be worth considering

cheers m9
yeah that's what a few other people have said.. so I'm thinking about getting a good mono amp
My mate has a £500 Hertz mono amp which powers his kicker 15 inch thing and that's louuuuddd.
i'm thinking if I can run 1ohm stable at max power of the sub then that'll be fine. I wouldn't mind looking at changing my speakers or the 4ch amp as I'm getting some distortion when ran at high volume which is annoying, if I turn the bass down on the Head unit then it goes away, but then lacks the clarity and sort of punch you get from the door speakers.

Got new boots all round and a fast road alignment set up
Vredestein Ultrac Vorti's. Coming from Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy2

I also got a new front badge through which I am going to paint blue to match the car.. just both the paint shops I went to over the weekend didn't have aerosol cans to mix up Rising Blue for me...so I'm going to order the paint online.

Going to Pod at the weekend hoping to beat my 14.2 best.

Post pod update.

I did manage to beat my time!

I went up to VW Action with mate my Royce , then found out it was £60 sign on fee! Cheeky buggers.
Was there anyway so coughed up.

Had 7 or 8 runs, beating my original PB of 14.22 with a 14.08, then oops.....

Pretty sure that something's wrong there haha.
Royce towed me a little bit up the road with a borrowed tow-rope

Something seems to have been missing from the end of the shaft.....

Completely ruined that lol, spline sheered off and took the hub nut out with it.

My mate Alex at AKS very very kindly came up from his Workshop with a spare driveshaft and hub nut. What a lad.

Swapped it over, nice and easy, drove home. Result.

What a day.

Bloody hell, that's a nasty thing to fail on you, lucky it didn't take anything like the brakes out with it! Good one on Alex sorting you out, although how much does he now own you?

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Think my account balance with him is enough to keep him sweet. Plus he enjoys my cheeky banter  :happy2: :happy2:
really grateful for his help lol

At first I half expected it was a shattered clutch disc but wouldn't have expected that of the Helix kit.

Sorry to see that happen Jay... Alex to the rescue   :driver:

Hope all holds up well...  :happy2:

Seems OK and I even dragged an Zafira vxr when I got back to Newbury yesterday lol

That looked fun!  :surprised:

I had a great day, all part of the fun. gotta expect it.

Got a bit happy with the spray paint over the weekend.

Considering I rattle-canned it outside and didn't flat/polish it, really happy.

Didn't really like the black on black. looked weird.

Much better IMO.

The paint job came out really well.  :happy2:

I'm with scopes, I prefer the black badge but looking in the flesh is different from looking at pictures.

I'd incur the wrath of the forum and do the bonnet as well...
