Hi I have the mfd2 sat nav unit I was wondering what do I need to hook up a aux cable to this unit to run my ipod, does anyone have a preferred cable input ?
It has the aux option on the screen also It had the 6 cd changer in the arm rest so it will be a case of unplugging the cd changer from the back of the head unit ?

I have the same problem as yourself and another member has helped me out.

He uses an xcarlink which gives 3.5mm jack and iPod charging connection.

This was one of the first things I did when I put my MFD2 in as I wanted iPod connectivity too but wanted to keep my changer. If you have a flick through my 'Members Rides' thread you'll be able to see where I put the XCarLink and also how it works. I was pretty impressed with it for the money and there's no modding of original looms so can be removed (as I just did) later with no problems. I am actually selling my XCarLink as I've just changed to the RNS510 so I'm upgrading to MDI, PM me if your interested, can't post in the For Sale section yet
