Luke's previous car tax renewal forms

I'm sure you'll end up loving it, I think they look like a truly capable, 'drivers' Golf. Some of the in gear and launch performance around the net shows crazy stats.

Ill give it 6 months......  :popcornsoda:

That long???

MQB platform vehicle will definitely be my next car. Wish the Golf R was as good as the GTI on fuel

I've got a mk7 golf R an does 35mpg when driving normally. I thought that was pretty good

Whats the motorway MPG? I can handle 34mpg average (long term) as thats what my eddie does . . .

I dont want my monthly 190 mile somerset trip to cost too much. The mk7 GTI seems do do 40-43mpg if driven gently on a run

I don't do much motorway driving but I think the R could have done with having an extra gear as revs a bit high at motorway cruising speeds

How much did you get it for, if you don't mind me asking?

£330 a month but that's with dsg, leathers, lapiz paint,19's an fully maintained. You need to be careful with some of these deals there too good to be true. There was a load on pistonheads & R forum that got caught out

Yes mate. Trust me if you stick at 70mph on a run youll probs be doing mid 40's.

Mines done 12k now so well run in and it keeps getting better and better. Might improve further with a map.
