I can handle 34mpg average (long term) as thats what my eddie does . . . I dont want my monthly 190 mile somerset trip to cost too much. The mk7 GTI seems do do 40-43mpg if driven gently on a run

I have an S3 and it will easily do 40mpg even doing 75+ and you don't really have to try tbh, miles better than my cupra ever was.

You need to be careful with some of these deals there too good to be true. There was a load on pistonheads & R forum that got caught out
Yes mate. Trust me if you stick at 70mph on a run youll probs be doing mid 40's.Mines done 12k now so well run in and it keeps getting better and better. Might improve further with a map.
