GTI door sill scuff

has anyone ever seen the GTI door sill without the word "GTI" on it? Not including ED30. The GTI I went to view yesterday has no GTI word on all 4 of them.

My standard '05 GTI doesn't have any lettering on the door sills. Just silver with a couple of stripes. Whether they added anything on later models I wouldn't know.

Yes silver/black on inside of door shut gti in middle. I have three door. Seen on net for sale they only adhesive

I have a 2005 3 door and there is no GTI written on the sills just a silver strip.

cheers for the replies guys..my 56reg 5 door had them..the 1 i viewed was 07reg 5door..no ''GTI" ..

i've got a '56 ('07) 5dr and it has GTI on all 4 sills.
