Is IronX Safe?

I got the ironx paste to use on the wheel hubs under brake pads, hopefully paste will be more affective . They look pretty ugly with the rust and embedded brake dusts . Have to see the result

well i used iron-x (the conventional way) for the first time yesterday and had to say i was surprised by how much fallout was actually on my paintwork. Amazingly the wheels didn't have any fallout on them except for one which barely had any contaminant. Here are the obligatory photos:

Mine showed fallout in exact same spots. Seems like it just gets stuck behind the badges and plastics

The dribble that is coming from the door trim left a horrific stain on mine... It was like rust. Only way I could shift it was to polish it out with SRP.

Was odd as even after rinsing the Iron X off it kept dribbling from that corner.

I was always told to keep Iron X away from painted calipers. But I've seen many people use it and so it must be ok

I also got the exact same!! It says specifically not to let it dry in which is how it stains!
After you spray it off it'll keep dribbling so you have to spray the hell out of it for a while to clear it off!

Yes I got that too, horrible rust coloured stain. Luckily it was whilst i was prepping with QD before putting on some EGP so a bit of elbow grease (didn't seem like it was going to shift after first few rubs  ) and the nasty looking stain was gone

Well I used the iron x paste on my wheel centre between brake discs and alloy and it had no effect Lolita turned purple or stuff but I think not strong enough to remove the rust and embedded brake dusts that well . Need a machine and some sort of abrasive stuff to clean that one
