R32 rear replica bumper painted, advice please
« on: May 29, 2014, 10:48:17 pm »
Evening all, so I purchased a replica rear bumper from PPCGB see link/pic below and got one my mates brother to
paint it for me,although did mention that Its a one piece valance/bumper and didn't want the middle section painted
...he painted it anyways :signLOL: not a problem he said he will re do it for me or will mask the areas around and paint the middle matt black, what you peeps think? should I get the middle part painted ( I do) it would like kinda funny if left it like that on the car right? also if left like that would the paint get messed up due to the heat from the exhaust?  see pics below

Looks ok. Leave it painted and no it won't be affecting by the zorst hear. I had a gen R32 rear with  the diffuser painted, looked a lot better that just plastic IMO.

Lots of peeps have bought front them in the past, some fit ok, some don't. Hope your is ok.

I know it's an old thread but I'm looking at buying a similar one myself just want to know if the bumper was a good fit or if it needed much prep work for painting?

Here's the one I want http://www.ppcgb.com/products/ppc-gti-exhaust-r32-look-rear-bumper-with-reflectors-fntng005
