Bit of an update, took my bits to get welded and got them back the other day which cost me £15. Forgot to mention that I made a mount for one of the aluminium pipes to give it bit more of a solid mounting on a bracket on the side of the engine.

I also made a heat shield which locates above the downpipe which hopefully will hold off some of the heat.

I cleaned all the welds up then etched and painted the parts (the paint cost me £15)

The trim turned up in the post today, I ordered 2m but they sent me 70cm :stupid: so I don't quite have enough yet but I sent them an email giving them my best so hopefully I should receive some more soon.

So this is the stage I am at now, just waiting on a reply from the trim/seal place but this wont stop me installing the system which hopefully I will be able to do this weekend

This was just a test fit of the filter and pipe, fits like a glove  :happy2:

Cheers

Sam

Couldnt find any anywhere online in the UK and did plenty of trawling! Ended up getting it off amazon from Eygpt, or their website - rubbersealmarket.com however I wouldn't recommend them from my experience.

I have reinforced the wooden one and it is much stronger now. However I have decided to put standard springs on anyway at least over the winter period.

Still waiting for my trim from Eygpt  :fighting: soon as that arrives then the system can be installed, I will upload the rest of the pics when I have finished it.

Quick wash today and took a couple of snaps - then it rained  :sad1:

Cheers
