Why would you want the watch?

Biggest load of Apple marketing twaddle I've ever seen!

I can send my loved one my heartbeat......WTF! That means having to buy two retarded watches!
It tells the time....woohoo, errr ......so does your phone!
You can see maps....errrr.....on a 1" screen!
You can draw stuff.....why on earth would I want to do that!

Sorry, but it had to be said!
:signLOL:

By any chance, do you have an Android????

I have an IPad, but have an Android phone as the 5S was too far behind in technology terms to warrant me even considering it. The IPhone 6+ however is a leap ahead in technology and as such I will be buying one as soon as I can.

The Apple Watch is nothing more than an Apple gimmick that falls short of the mark in delivery of decent functionality and costs more than a decent watch that simply does what it says on the tin.  :happy2:
Golf R gone.

Did anyone watch the live stream of the keynote (unveiling press event) on Apple's web site?
It went horribly wrong. It got stuck on a 'testcard' type splash screen, then cut to footage of the audience walking in, then actually showed the live footage briefly but with Chinese audio, and then it stopped working entirely!!!

I'll be getting an iphone 6 (the smaller one) straight away as the remaining life of my 3 year old 4s can be counted in minutes!!

I don't really get the appeal of the watch. But I said that about the iPad - and guess what I'm typing this on!!!

I was disappointed we didn't here anyone about car play. I'm sat here waiting for the aftermarket headunits to come out.

I'm actually quite tempted, about time they released a phone that was a bit more of a usable size.  5" would have been a bit better but I can forgive it because its  such a lovely looking device.

I've had every phone until the 5 came out but I returned it under the 14 day returns policy due to some issues.  Had a load of android phones since, all have been awesome except for the galaxy s4.  Samsung ruin the android sw with their skins.

Some concerns, battery seems to be a marginal step forward and most of my mates have to put their iPhones on charge around 2pm every day for a top up.

Screen resolution is pretty low compared to the competition.

Camera is still a bit crap.

Gonna have a play with the wifes 5s later and see what features I'm going to lose and decide whether I can live without them.  Why do they make such nice looking devices

The advantage of Apple products over others is that they retain their value better .

You could have a 16gb 5s for a year costing £549 and then a year later get £350 or more for it  (average selling price ebay) , costs £4 a week in depreciation . I won't get a 6 as they are too big as a Phone , and the 6plus is just a smaller ipad mini (ish) and costs loads more!
