Has anyone heard of Q Performance in Lancashire??
« on: September 09, 2014, 11:08:14 am »
Hi, i'm new to the forum. Willing be buying a mk5 by the end of the month.

I have come across a company in Lancashire called Q Performance who seem to offer a very good package for a mk5 golf.

Just wondered if anybody had come across, delt or even heard of them before??

Thanks in advance.

Shaun

No mate as there going to find me the car but the kit on it and fully respray it. Seem a good but small set up. They dont seem to advertise much, more word of mouth.

Anyway, Ive told them I want a GT TDI 140 in grey with heated leather and full service history.

They will buy the car on my behalf then take it back to there workshop and do all the work what needs doing to it.

They use all genuine VW kits direct from Germany, the guy has sent me no end of pics already.

My GTI kit is all fully primed and just waiting for the car..

Okay mate I'm with ya now so you're turning a GTTDI into a GTI replica. How much do they charge for the GTI replica package?

Im not sure what just the conversion cost is tbh as they are suppling the car aswell!

They have now bought the car (with my approval).

2008 GT TDI 5-door in grey (full heated leather) with full dealer service history.
It has just been mot'd but they are going to sort all the advisories out and re-mot it so there happy.

So when I pick it up it'll have had a full respray with the gti kit being added.
Mapped to 170-185bph
windows ever so slightly tinted
Front GTi smoked headlights
Slightly smoked rear lights and side repeaters
Bright- White kit
Follow me home lights activated
Sat Nav / DVD / Bluetooth headunit with reversing camera
New discs and performance pads all round (red calipers)
New R36 wheels and tyres

Ive told him he should advertise more as a one stop shop like this who can do pretty much anything must appeal to no end of vw owners.

I know its fun to gradually build a car from std to how you want it yourself but that can sometimes take forever and how many people sell up b4 they get chance to finish it.

I have the funds to do it in one hit so I thought why not

Well todays the day!!

Picking up my mk5 this evening (3hr train after work but will be worth it)

The owner of Q-Performance has constantly been in contact with videos, photos etc aswell as giving me choices along the way.

I have seen finished pics of it but cant wait to see in in the flesh.
