Hi Scottymon.

Its nothing to do with security.... Its just the fact that the forum scripting is changed as it is upgraded through 1.1.19 and v2 to the current 2.0.8

Things change and if the writer of the mods doesnt keep on top of this then unless we are left with not much choice but to drop the mod.

I don't use SMF, but usually versions are updated for security or compatibility reasons.

At the end of the day, I think you need to do whatever is required to keep the forum online, if a few mods are debunked, so be it.

Just replace it with a hall of fame thread where knowledgeable, helpful members are listed for all to celebrate. Or just not tell anyone and see who actually notices it.
