« on: September 10, 2014, 09:24:46 pm »

After months of me harassing him a good friend is considering selling his 30, but what's it worth??

Spec as follows:

Edition 30
07

Man
50k full service at vw apart from last which has just been done
Mfsw, Parking sensors but standard otherwise
5 owners
Lovely condition and needs nothing with new tyres, brakes etc

Thanks in advance

The car is worth what someone is willing to pay, as the car market seems very slow ATM with everyone financing the latest registration.

I'd be happy with 8.5k but he's looked on auto trader and feels its late 9k.

Market does seem slow at the moment, very few cars coming on also.

Cheers

I paid £10.5 for mine 57 Plate with 48000 miles, RNS510, High Line, MFSW, Park Sensors.
It was immaculate thou with no marks in or out.

I may have paid a Premium but the car was mint and unmodified therefore it ticked all my boxes in terms of what I was prepared to pay back in February.

I spent around £3k with retrofits and other enhancements then sold it in August  :stupid:

If I was him I'd also look for late 9's.

I saw one locally up for 12.5k and sold in three days, just a clean standard car.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I paid £11800 for my 08 5 door from a dealer last year...

Was Candy White though and had 28k on the clock and completely standard and very clean

Private I reckon £9,500 for that one

Sold mine , wish i hadn't with 23k for £10k , it needed about £500 spending on it so say £10500 and that was in June this year . I would say that its and easy £9k and i would advertise around £9450 - £10k depending on how you like to price cars when you sell them . I asked for £10k and got £10k . Could have asked for £11k and it could still be for sale ! Now drive a diesel 4x4 ! No speeding tickets yet  :happy2:

Had my 3 door white eddy about 6 months I paid £10.5k. It's pretty much immaculate apart from VW's stupid rusty front wings.

Had 44,000 on the clock full vw service history
