I like your plans, practical.

We would all love tte420 or BBT hybrids.

When are you planning on going to the Ring?

Cheers, not sure when I'll go, admittedly its not as much of a draw to me as it seems to be for most but I do want to do a few laps as part of a trip although I may get hooked  :signLOL:

Spa is the big one for me, the though of driving Eau Rouge

To be honest, if you're using stock K04 set up then get some China special boost pipe work:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Turbo-Discharge-Pipe-Conversion-For-VW-R20-Golf-Scirocco-R-2006-AUDI-TTS-FSI-/261675948859?hash=item3ced1a1b3b:g:ZH4AAOSw~1FUWE1B

Some of the guys on VWROC are using this and report it's all fine. Will help free up some torque low down from the K04 which can be quite laggy before 2,500RPM.

Nice one  :happy2:

Was thinking about pipework as its known to be restrictive and can literally see it everytime I go to the kitchen at work  :signLOL:

So not much has really happened on the engine front, cleaned the MAF properly and done some map/ VCDS tweaking. Now runs 99% fine up to 6k RPM, just doing regular checks on the plugs and VCDS scans to make sure its running well.

Getting a few quotes on the BWJ refurbishing and still not 100% sure on where I'm going with it.

So just been driving it (trying to keep miles down where possible) taken the dog for a few walks and got pretty dirty inside and out. Also finally got the drawing I had done properly framed.

Definitely gets used properly

Gave her a well deserved wash

Picture all framed

That's about all I've got at the moment

Quick question for you, where might I find a red GTI sticker for the dash?

Awesome car by the way

Brake bulb broke so had to replace it, I think the car looks like a terminator without the cluster

Kerbed a wheel on Saturday and also hammered a pothole
Kerbing isn't too bad and somehow didn't damage the wheel or tyre on the other side in the pothole.

So today ended up being wheel day, got the TD 1.2's sorted and on mine, my mum got some new BBS SX on her R32 and also some TD1.2's for the MX5.

Coating stage

Had mine fitted and then immediately took them off to lower the front, space the rear, and paint the bolts.

How it was at the start

Then sorted it

Then both cars fitted and sorted.

Surprised how much I really like these now I've played around a bit, really want to paint the rear bumper and skirts to go with them.

Really need to get my Golf R lowered, TD's look a bit lame on stock ride height. Yours sits really, REALLY well now, amazing how a few millimetres here and there make a difference.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Definitely mate cheers, yeah just an inch or two and a few mm's spacing transforms the whole car.
