Exhaust looks very well put together. Is it 3" or 3.5"? And I only see one box?

3", one box, zero cats

They call it their signature package so not at all drony but very nice when you get on it. And the quality of the welds is supreme. Very pleased.

I see. I hope you get it sorted easily.

Cheers buddy  :happy2:

Glad to see you got your AC sorted in the end. That looked like a right pain
Yeah, it's too hot to drive without the AC working... So far it's making a nice cold air.

I bet lol. It's bad enough when on a nice day it hits 30 degrees here but 40 degrees must be unbearable

That's impressive then, if it doesn't drone. Hope you get the rattle sorted anyway, must be spoiling the experience a bit.

Are you just sticking with the k04 for now then? I'm sure I've asked you this before! Got to be tempted by something capable of 400+ now you've got a safe engine for it...?

Yeah, it's got the anti surge wheel which means although it won't make 400+ it will IRL be nearly as fast as cars that do with the super quick spool. Also i just want a car that bloody works for a couple of years so i can get some stuff ticked off my bucket list like driving Spa and going to the Autobahn etc....

Maybe then I'll pick up a bigger turbo

Yeah I wanted to straight away but it sounds best at WOT in high RPMS and didn't want to do that on the base map. Will probably get one on the R-tech estate on Saturday  :happy2:

Exhaust rattle might be the hangers in the subframe bracket touching the subframe.  Plus my ocd is killing me, the bracket is upside-down :(

Cheers AJP, fab5freddy and dansmith. I appreciate the responses. I'm getting my learning together on all theses engine codes now :happy2:

Considering i'm going K04 on an AXX I may well need to be well up on the stronger engine codes

@dansmith - I've a 3in turbo back (Now with a 3in high flow cat and two silencers!). When i had it fitted initially it had no cat and it was bonkers!!

So loud, and massive BANG's between each DSG shift. I wonder how they've managed to make yours civilized with no cat and only one box?

Sometimes I just wonder if i'm getting too old  :rolleye: :rolleye:

I had exactly this problem when my new exhaust was fitted. It was so annoying
A bit of fettling of the hanger arms and a new bracket and it's now 99.999% better (It still slightly squeaks on hot days - weird i know!)

No worries lol it's a minefield that's taken me best part of 2 years to learn what i have so far. Lots of friendly people on here to help out.

I am honestly amazed how quiet it is on the motorway, even at a fast 100+ cruise it's fine. Ill be able to test it fully once the maps done and I can go mad with it, which I will immediately  :signLOL:

I will defo look into the hangers then as thats where I felt the sound was coming from like it's right behind the dash and below.
