Thank you very much gentlemen. I will try and get some better pics asap.

@rdfcpete no 'Ring for me unfortunately, yeah from what I've seen it's mental out there atm. Oh wow i bet that made you ruin your pants   :scared:

@PatchySan they came with a fitting kit with radius bolts but they look longer than stock ones. I've got the stud kit with radius nuts and they fit nicely.

Yeah i don't really use it for work anymore so only comes out to get abused really. I'll check them after a bit and if they're coked up I'll go back to 7's.

Been a couple of months since I updated the thread. Been very busy.

Went to a regular meet with some bro's

Seats finally showed up

Took me way longer than I care to admit to get them onto the frames and lined up correctly. This was just to test fit as I still had to sort some buckles out for them

Really like the way the feel although very different position from the oem seats. Makes you wanna drive like a nutter all the time lol.

Couple of weeks ago this happened at 2am

Nearside KW spring went bang. Didn't even hit anything must have already been damaged and gave way. I'm very lucky it happened when it did as I had slowed down to 35ish and was nearly home so I limped her back.

Cars been sitting on the drive since the spring broke but still fitted the seats

Current plans are

Fit new springs
Thorough clean in and out
Fit track wheels
Trip to AKS for front roll bar and couple of bits
Paint drivers side rear arch
Try not to embarrass myself at VagTuner

Liking the seats Dan. Pretty sure they're what my mate's just fitted to his Civic... although he only bought one. His mrs feels a bit left out

Crap news about the spring though. That could have been nasty. They're not that old are they? Are you going to try and get KW to shoulder the cost? I've heard a few stories about them being a bit 'difficult' with things like this though. For what it's worth... there's a recent thread from someone on here who says his boss is the head of KW UK or something. A search should find it. Might offer a bit of leverage if they're aware there's a bit of chat about it on a forum, if you know what I mean!

@AJP cheers for that mate. Yeah they're 3 1/2 years old which isn't old enough to expect that to happen.

We're actually a KW dealer at work so I spoke to one of the main guys for KW UK (about 6 times in 48hours) and we ended up at 25% discount and if I send the broken spring back they will do full analysis on it. Bollocks deal really but their perspective is they have no idea what stresses and strains the spring has been subjected too and hold no responsibility unless it's proven to be a defect.
