Keep looking at your OZ wheels for sale, they're nice but not sure they would work as well as a set of C63 wheels on my Golf R. Plans to sell those anytime this year? :-P

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Haha, not at the moment I don't. Just buy the OZ's, I'll give you a good price  :innocent:

Give me a few months to build up some funds. If I can sell the last of my mk5 parts I probably will.

If I were in UK they would've been gone buy now.
Nice looking wheels, OZ quality!

Good luck with the sale! :happy2:

So the hubs are all painted and dry now, they just dissapear as they should instead of being orange.

Gave the engine bay a thorough clean and dressed it.

Finally fitted the GTI footrest plate I've had for about 6 months.

Then took a few photos during and after giving her a good clean.

Car is looking great Dan - keeps getting better and better.
It's all in the details - hubs look so much cleaner when painted.
Must come and say hello seeing as I'm in Maidenhead...

Cheers, yeah I've always said the details make the real difference, anyone can slam a car and slap some wheels on but taking time to do all the bits really makes a car. Do you ever go to the Homegrown meet at Beaconsfield services? Its on the last Friday of every month (Apr -Oct I think)

Hi mate, you have a sweet looking ride there! :happy2:

Quick question: how much was the new front grille? Mine is faded and wondering what will be more cost effective, a quick gloss black respray or a new one..

Cheers,
SAM

That's where I got mine from. The problem you get with respraying gloss black is they chip very easily and it might look like sh*t again very soon.

Thanks very much mate! How was the fit with the Polish part, as I don't think its' OEM VW?

Its was really good actually, maybe not perfect but it all screwed in fine and is on tight so for about 1/4 of the price of a genuine part I can't complain. I'll see how it holds up in the next 6 months but is looking great so far.
