Newbie Teesside
« on: September 14, 2014, 03:01:36 pm »
Hi every one,

I signed up for this forum a while back (when I was looking to purchase an edition 30).

So I got myself one in March, 08plate, 32000 miles (then), grey, manual, big brakes, and a stainless exhaust.

I received my build number yesterday no.1801.

I have just been enjoying the car since then.

21 years of age and new to all this.

Already got some ideas from the forum and some helpful tips, great site.

Since I have bought mine I have seen a white one, a black one and red one, all in the Middlesbrough area. Definitely more than I expected

Do you have any mods on yours?, I have been thinking of getting an intake system, not sure which to go for or how much to spend or even if I should get one yet.

Nothing performance wise.
I've got carbon flappy paddles, just got some pressed plates and wrapped the vw badges in carbon.

My private plate starts with S7 but there is a replica diesel Gti going around with S7 on the plate aswell.

I've got an ITG intake on mine and lowered 30mm on H&R springs. Ohh and black wheels.
BCS Exhaust is next on the list

I can't say that I have seen you,

I have been looking at the itg intake, everyone on here seems to be raving about it, bit pricy for me at the moment though.

 Would you recommend buying it?

My edges agents perfect on close inspection but it'll do.
Got some spare if you want a bit to do yours?
