I think that 969 is Carl's favourite number. He loves the 9's  :driver:

Going for stage 1 tomorrow.. cannot wait!

Are there any specific settings I should be looking to get my car set-up too...

Did it make much difference to your insurance mate?
I would love to be in your position mate......I almost am. :ashamed:  I was all set to get the revo done, until I called my Insurance and they told me that they would not insure me if I modified the engine.  :sad1:
So now I either wait till the end of Feb when my policy runs out (but at least I will get another years no-claims) or I cancel this policy and get a refund for the 3mths remaining. Then I will get a new policy straight away from another company but I will have to forget the no-claims accrued for last year.
I should wait till March. I hope I can!  :sad1:

Well done mate! I can't wait. March seems such a long way away! What settings did you go for?

....You may have already said, but how old are you and which insurance company? - The answer to each of those questions may be why and hence a solution may be possible....or not.

I think it was more to do with the Insurance company. I'm insured with More-Than Insurance. I'm 34yrs old with nearly 5yrs NCD.
A very nice Indian girl told me that if the Revo will affect the Top Speed and/or the Acceleration then they would NOT be able to insure me.

@ monte - Yep, 34yo + 5 NCD should not be a problem. You just need a more sympathetic insurance company who understands mods. Example: Greenlight.

....

I prefer to run B7 on my K03 GTI - Gives a bit more headroom for any potential fuel cut issues as I understand it. I can't tell the difference in driving between B7 and B9 anyway - Or at least it doesn't make any difference to my driving. IIRC, B7 also gave me a much better AFR plot on the dyno.

Each car and its mods is different and that's the beauty of Revo as you can make fine adjustments.

....Yep, I'm on T5/B7/F9 on K03 and she runs well, but will cut down to B4 if I fit a high-flow tubular air intake.
