Anyone Used Karcher Window Cleaner on Inside of Windows?
« on: October 17, 2014, 02:48:28 pm »
The misses is thinking of getting one of those Karcher window steam cleaners.  Just wondered if anyone has used one of these on the inside of the windows in their car and if so if it was any good?

Saw the advert and it looks like all you use is water and it steam cleans them?

Just use Autoglym Fast Glass and a waffle cloth. Cheaper, cleaner, quicker, less hassle, better result. Plus, even though it's only steam I would be worried about water ingress in to the notoriously dodgy electrics of the door card, such as mirror control, window switches etc. steam = condensation = water = dodgy electrics?
How did she know?

"Karcher Window Vac" is THE best window cleaner for the house windows, bar absolute none, makes mince meat of large windows.  You will be loved getting this for an Xmas present for your Mum!

I wouldn't really use it on the car though.
