Long story short my Mrs was late getting up and we hit some traffic. I had tried to call Rtech since about 8:45 to say we'd be 40 minutes late or so but didn't get through until 9:30. Niki said to hurry up so I got going.... Then got a call back telling us to turn around.
I can understand their position from a point of view of it effecting their other work in the day, which is fine but I had been booked in for basically 6 weeks and had taken a day off work for it, to be turned away for after an 80 mile drive for 40 minutes is a bit annoying, as I said I can understand their point of view but nevertheless....
That's business.
In the end I went to AKS and my partner in forum administration sorted me out with a Stage 2 with DSG software, no power figures but it feels like 260bhp, about 320lb ft.. very happy with it to be fair. I got a good deal, I won't say the price I paid but it wasn't much more than R-tech.
