Rtech map
« on: August 15, 2014, 11:15:04 pm »
Hi. I bought my gti with a retech map on it. Does anyone know if my ecu will be locked by them?

I was planning on adding a few more mods and getting a map somewhere else just because rtech are so far away from me.

Will rtech be able to tell me this ?

Cheers

Would of thought their map will be lock ed so only they can adjust it but another company can replace it for one of their but I would get the mods done and go see r tech to up grade there map

I wouldn't mind using rtech but it would be a 11hour round drive.

Anyway i can get the ecu back to standard and unlocked by vw?
