Scrubbed the under tray with neat fairy liquid, will give the pipe work a clean up & see how she fares. Thanks

Before I press the button on these can someone confirm I have ordered the right amount of the right seals?





For anyone coming across this in a search I found this pic helpful to understand how the clips work (not mechanically minded).

I have a set I am selling from a gti I have broken up for spares I have now listed them on ebay  :happy2:

Nope. They can't remove engine covers to inspect, so don't worry.

I have a similar issue on the opposite side to you, passed an MOT. Thinking that I may as well replace both the pipes and intercooler while I'm doing other intake parts, but that's part of a secret plan I'm forming...

The jubilee clips don't replace the oem spring clips, they secure the alloy ends to the silicone pipes... Should imagine it would be a good replacement thought :happy2:
