RR with DSG
« on: September 19, 2014, 10:09:28 am »
May be silly but is it possible to get a full power plot on Rolling road with DSG without it changing up to early before you let off for the run down?

This is my first DSG car so not really sure what effect it will have on the RR.

First off, find a RR operator that knows about how to dyno a dsg car.
The standard dsg map will upshift around 6400rpm on the RR and not much you can do to avoid this. At this rpm you k03 will be out of breath anyway so you'll not see more power.
Without traction power is nothing!

Should have mentioned TDI  :happy2: but principle is the same I would imagine. I'm using CCTuning at a charity RR  day next saturday. I ran my toledo on his old rollers several times with the manual and got my stock figures and remapped figures but thought I may have some loses with the dsg up changing before its gone all threw the Rev range.
