Nope, could turn mine off on my S3 and RS4, didn't though liked the safeness of people seeing me early

I think they will be 'automatic' on cars built after 2011(?). But who knows.

Actually I think you are right RR, I just googled it and they will have to be automatic, but surely there will be an overide switch ?  Slightly OT, but who cares....

I can turn the christmas lights off on the S3 but haven't once yet, they really do make you presence felt when driving in daylight

Nope, could turn mine off on my S3 and RS4, didn't though liked the safeness of people seeing me early

But you have a big bright red golf  with a deeper exhaust note if they cannot see you they need there eyes testing.
