Hi everyone, my name is Gary and I'm from Aberdeenshire in Scotland, I've been looking to join a MK5 Golf forum for a while and i've seen people have good things to say about this one, I don't have a GTi I but my one is a 2007 GT TDi Sport, i have owned it for about a year and a half now, its remapped, DPF filter removed, EGR blanked off, rear wiper delete, I have shortened the rear silencer and took out the pipes from inside and fitted a painted GTi rear bumper instead of the standard black textured one, here's some pictures.
It had an ED30 front lip fitted but a badger got in the way of it and the bumper so after trying to find a replacement grill for ages I just changed them all for GTi ones and removed the badge and filed away the bit where it clipped into, I also fitted my plate with magnets instead of drilling into it or putting the sticky pads onto the new grill.
I'm looking for another front lip if anyone knows of one, thanks for looking, Gary.
