Or what badge can I buy that's the 3D that fits?

Mk 6 will fit. Might sit slightly proud compared to old one, but that's all.

I had problems fitting one to my 09 Mk5.

I believe some modification may be required to fit it  :happy2:

As mentioned the whole mechanism will fit fine but just the VW Emblem fitted to a Mk5 mech will need a wee bit of modding.

My Mk6 mech on my Mk5.....
