Ferodo DS2500 no wear indicator?!
« on: September 25, 2014, 05:09:32 pm »
Just bought a set for the front for my mk5 GTI (standard brakes 312 mm). But there is no wear sensor/indicator on them. What to do about this. What have you guys done?

Cheers  :happy2:

You can either short the sensor wire (ghetto method) or code it out in vcds.
Without traction power is nothing!

Coding it out with VCDS is the proper way to do it...

or

Pull the wear sensor wire off the old brake pad, and connect it back to the car and short the wires together.

edit.... too slow!
