Climate control temps for winter

What temps do you guys generally run in winter? It's my first winter with the ed & I sometimes question wheter the climamTe control is as hot as it should be. I was genearly running 24 but tonight I had to run 26 and whilst it felt warm I can't help but wonder if at that temp it should be warmer

I also run with the Econ button lit.. I take it this is to switch the air on off ? I have also tried without but it makes no difference to the temp

one more thing.. I run with the auto setting too

I tend to just leave it on max and control the flow/fanspeed. Front heated seats help loads though. I did do a journey recently where it was bitterly cold outside (8*C) and I had it at 19*C but even that was warm with the heated seats on 3/5.

8 degree's bitterly cold? I used to live in Vancouver - that got cold

it will be cold over there! need to get saving for another ski trip me thinks.... maybe next year, need a mod fund first! 

when i leave for work at half 6 in the morning its pretty nippy lately but as steathwolf says i just use the heated seats for a little while and have the heat on full but just low blowing then once its bearable after 10 minutes i normally turn it all off as its too much

8 degree's bitterly cold? I used to live in Vancouver - that got cold  

8*C is cold when all you're wearing is a tuxedo!

As for vancouver, that's another level of cold. A work colleague spent a few years in Canada. Told me how it's snowed in for half the year and takes a few months for the snow to melt but can become very warm very quickly.

....Same here. I don't like too much heating or aircon and might just use it to demist the glass or perhaps just a short time to cut the chill/heat off.

The great thing about having the sunroof is being able to just tip the back up a fraction for ventilation [as in my sig pic below].

I might be old but everyone here knows only too well that I haven't grown up!

I tend to keep myself comfortably warm with the clothes I choose to wear. I worked outdoors all year round with horses for a couple of years once upon a time. That taught me that there's no such thing as bad weather but just being badly dressed for it. Very funny when a big strapping horse tries to take shelter behind you in horizontal sleet!

Mines usually on Auto with a temp of about 20 - 21

Keep mine on 22 deg with economy mode selected so it's not using aircon
