Southampton + Surrounding Area's Scene?

I've just moved to Totton, Southampton from Derbyshire.
There was nearly always a meet going on every week, I'm just wondering if anyone can shed some light on if any meets happen, when and where down here?

Dubscene are a Portsmouth VAG club - I used to be a member when I lived down that way. Very friendly boys and girls, we used to truck along to a monthly meet in Southampton organised by the SoVAG club. No idea if SoVag are still going but DS is on FB...

Monthly meets:
When: fourth Thursday of every month
Time: 7:00 pm onward
Where: NEW LOCATION - Hilsea Lido, Just off the M27. > PO2 9RP <

Theres match ams raceway over in Ringwood, they do some cool events there, drift nights etc, obviously not VW specific but if you want a good laugh then its pretty good!
