How about just adding a downpipe and cat to your OEM exhaust?

I've got res turbo back and its just right for me, when cruising on the motorway etc nice and quiet but when you press on it gives quite an aggressive bark. A few lads on here have commented on how well it sounds from the outside when following :happy2:

must get someone to do a drive-by for me so I can hear it

As alread said the dp and cat wth the standard cat back sounds well, i only really wanted performance and not too much noise but it has made a nice difference, bit raspy and pops...

I have a Milltek res TBE on my K1. I would highly recommend it. As said its very unobtrusive on the motorway inside the cabin, but when on the move it sounds really purposeful. Friends have said it sounds mean as hell fom the outside but you don,t realise that from the drivers seat.

....I'm sure that if you buy him a beer, TC will do a drive-by for you at The Ring as well.

The res really aint loud enough for me. I had the non-res Milltek TBE on my ED30 and I still wanted it to be a tad louder!  :chicken: Have you ever heard MatED30's car, that is where it's at

Resonated for me, sounds great. I've always gone for resonated on my cars, except the RS4, but had to change that after two days, it was just too loud for the wife and kids!!
