Hi guys.... as the title says I am getting that issue. It must think I have a reverse camera fitted?
It says 'is it safe to move?' or something similar

Is there an option to disable it?
Or is it meant to do it regardless of a camera fitted or not?

cheers

You'll need to turn RVC off in VCDS mate.

Hiya. Have done this today and it's still happening. The guy at Awesome GTI said it might need some wiring alterations?

did you reset the 510 after making the changes in VCDS?
Loads of extra's and retro fits.

The guys at the specialist did it and not sure if they reset. I will do that though. Just the two arrows and star button?

Yes that's all it should need, you always need to reset 510 after any changes in VCDS to take affect

there will be NO wiring issues at all, its all software driven , awesome are probably used to after market stereos where you have extra wiring to know if the cars in reverse
