Stealth Stage 2

Since i've had my car all i've done is maintenance stuff. Need to get some mods.

So for a stage 2 map do i just need  3" down pipe & intake?

It needs to be stealth so the wife doesn't notice.

Options for dp and intake?

Also tuners here are sh*t. What options are there for a map i can load myself?

I would imaging most people will say Milltek or BCS downpipe and sports cat, along with a Revo stage 2 remap. But I don't know if you can get the shipped to Spain...

You will need a downpipe and a sports cat or decat, sports cat if you want the car to be quiet, also look at inclosed intakes if you want it stealthy

You got revo, giac, think dm is popular also eurodyne.. If ur in the states golfmkv.com might be better advice on us based software

I can ship all the parts to my address in london and get them forwarded to spain. revo & giac do programs i can load myself?

I don't have much faith in the garages here took my other car to 3 seat dealers as it kept going into limp mode due to over boost. They said i needed a new turbo. The last time i even asked them to check the vacuum pipe running to the waste gate. This was supposedly done. Had a few comments are you a mechanic etc.

A couple of weeks ago i risked parking the GTI on the street whipped the vacuum pipe to the waste gate off and tested it. No leaks but when i removed my finger from one end the vacuum held. A £6.00 fix.

Wont they just stick on a stock file anyway. Are they really going to tailor it just for me?

You don't need a dyno. Road logging is fine.

So they don't usually dyno the car when they map it?

I just think that this place will just load on the standard file? Which i can do myself.

Theres a Revo dealer nearish to dazza I think.

So long as they load the correct map you can do the logging and adjusting if there is any doubt.

That was my original question can i buy a loader & map and load it myself. Rather than paying a local reseller whos just going to load a stock map.

Going from the revo website the price is 785.00 EUR/£615
