I got the ones of eBay (as mentioned by mrxbox360) they are much much brighter, even light up the road beneath, might tweak them a bit to aim at the plate.

This is what they look like and the pointy edges just fit into the original bulb holder they can be twisted, pointing up down or whichever way really, I imagine if I twist them towards the plate most of the light will go in that direction instead of strait down (as they are sat at the moment)

I've got 3 sets of error free LED's in bulb holders if you didn't get a set

Mine haven't put an error up, think there error free LEDs will have some if it goes pear shaped though
