Sports cat down pipe
« on: October 17, 2014, 02:54:15 pm »
Hi all,

First proper post so please go easy

Would really love a full turbo back exhaust but really cannot afford one!

Thinking the best performance for money would be a sports cat down pipe with the standard cat back system. Please tell me if I'm wrong!

Has anyone used 2 fast 2 cool shop on ebay... They are selling 3" down pipes with 200 cell cats for £280! Seems to cheap but almost worth going for!

Whatcha think?

I think a Pipewerx DP & Sc off eBay would be much better quality  :happy2:

The pipewerx certainly look nicer and seem more on the money... You get what you pay for springs to mind!

How restrictive is the OEM cat back system?... Won't be going crazy with power probably just a simple remap with induction and perhaps an intercooler...

Looking for a bit more noise of full chat and a bit more performance, will running the larger down pipe cause any issues on a standard map?

Thanks in advanced  :popcornsoda:

You will get more performance and a bit more noise. You will eventually get an engine light up. Really to get the best out of it you need a map
