Black Mk5 Golf Gti - 3Dr
« on: January 25, 2014, 04:34:08 pm »
Well bought this at the beginning of January to replace my 1.7 Astra H after flood damage wrote it off just before Christmas :( it's a 2006 GTi, 93k, FVWSH, auto dimming mirrors, MFSW, parking sensors & there might be some other things things I haven't discovered yet lol

Totally loving the car so far, some difference from the Astra.

Managed to squeeze a quick wash in between showers today & grabbed a couple of iPhone pics.

Car came HPI clear, totally standard & so far I've added some heko wind deflectors, gti seat inserts & a fresh set of plates. Also purchased a new pioneer double din but waiting on the connects2 kit to arrive to get it fitted.

Plans are to add a set of 18" monzas & a bit of lowerage & hopefully leave it at that.

Well it's been a while but I could resist no  longer & ordered up a milltek cat-back non-resonated two weeks before the wedding...

Some open fog grills for Father's day too

Left it round to get de-swirled with a local detailer & he sent me some snaps mid way...

Then took a few snaps of my own on the way home...

That leaves me with;

2.0 TFSI Manual Golf GTI
Diamond Pearl Black
Tartan Interior
MFSW
Parking Sensors
Auto lights / wipers
Auto dimming rear mirror
Chilled glovebox
17" Monzas

Mods

Brushed aluminium GTI seat inserts
Heko wind deflectors
Fresh set of plates
H&R 30mm springs
Pioneer FH-X700BT
Milltek cat back non resonated exhaust
OEM open fog grills
Stubby aerial
SMD sidelights
SMD number plate lights
Upgraded the dipped beam bulbs
