Hi, I am fitting the rcd510 into my mates car soon, all his music is on usb sticks, is there a cable that plugs into the back of the unit that will take his usb sticks

Cheaper option is to buy a big capacity SD card (less than £10) and copy the music to that instead. The radio treats it the same as a USB stick

That's what I do. I have a 32 Gb Sd card and it has plenty of space.

With an USB cable.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but I've got an RCD510 in mine at the moment and Id like a way to play music off my iPhone 5.

Would this be all I require to do this? I've already got a 6 CD changer on the centre armrest so would it just be a case of taking this out and swapping in the USB version?
