I kept waiting ... and waiting - then called customer services who said I had to request a number !!

It was sent through - number 2069 .... about 2 days before I sold the car having had it for 18 months .... poor service on VW's part. 

They don't like to talk about their 'limited' run of 1500 cars  :grin: 

TBH the number didn't interest me (after all, if they had stuck to 1500 I wouldn't have had the car!)  The whole situation is somewhat amusing though .... in a strange kind of way ....

Thanks for that guys - the FAQ makes an interesting read.

Mines is probably up in the 2000's as its on an 08 plate!!

I know for a fact all of the remaining plaques are sat in a box under someones desk in Milton Keynes!  :surprised:

I have asked my 'contact' to look into whats going on with the remaining plaques as the whole situation is frankly embarrassing!  :sad1:

I don't even have the Eddy anymore and recieved a letter a couple of months back, I still want it to pass onto the new owner so the car can be recognised.
