They're a quick car. A simple remap gives them neck end of 300 brake, and if you start throwing money at them then they can get really silly figures.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.

Quick car though, about the same as an Eddy from ECU flash.

Know what you mean. Only thing I ever see of the local one is "bye bye nice try" sticker.
Do they have a Focus engine?

No, the engine is a 2.3 Mazda unit, turbocharged. I don't think it's made its way into Fords at all.

I remember trying to race a Toyota starlet in the late 90s.

Thought it just looked like a small piece of crap with a loud exhaust and my cavalier gsi was quick!

I well and truly got a shock

Mps also has an lsd fitted from factory, boost is limited in first two gears for traction.

Well made cars, nearly bought one.

Mps is a nice car. Looked in to them before i made the choice on the gti.

Seem to have a good chassis and good handling aswell but so does the golf. The decider was the mpg and inside of mps felt cheaper than the golf and golf looks better aswell.

My Neighbour has got a mazda 3 MPS I like the look of them and it shifts but as said by Markyed30 the interior is horrible in comparison to a Golf
